 Coronavirus is a virus that infects your breathing and can make you very ill. Germs that live on your hands but you can wash them off of your hands. This virus that is small has  spread around the whole world. Its name is covid-19 because the virus name is Covid and it was discovered in 2019.

The coronavirus started in a place called Wuhan in China,  in a food market. The  virus was in the food market  they ate.  Some people did not know they had the virus  so they went traveling and touching things.

This is how it moved around the world

 It is all over the world Italy, France Spain, USA The Uk and even New Zealand. Heaps and heaps of people have become sick and heaps have died now more  people are getting better.

A lot of countries went into lock down, to stop the virus from spreading. So less people will die, or get sick. NZ went to Level 4 lockdown. And only Essential shops stayed open like Countdown, so we could buy food.

How many people are sick? How many deaths, how many people have recovered?

In NZ are LUCKY 1,105, 12 people have died and 974 people got better.

In the whole world 2,470,410 are sick 169,794 died and 645,335 have recovered.

That’s so many people. I think more people would have died if we didn't try to stop it from spreading more.

CONSTRUCTION Plus RECOUNT On tuesday 5th of november, we did a construction plus which is exciting here's a trip down memory lane so we were lining up waiting to do activities, the first thing we did was arts and craft then we won favorites and then we moved on to what builders do when you move out before they demolish your old house, then we went to the workroom to see where maori people first lived then we learnt our water is sewage but they clean it out and make clean water and they dug up the ground and replaced the small pipes with big pipes then we get drinking water. Then when we were done sang our goodbye then they left in there van
